2017 Grading information

Junior age groups from Under 10 and older have a number of divisions so teams can play against appropriate levels of opposition.  To place players in the appropriate division, we hold a number of grading sessions before the season begins.  Players who want to be considered for Division 1 or 2 teams need to attend grading.  Players who are happy to be placed in Division 3 or 4 do not have to attend, but are very welcome to.

Please check the details below for your age group and attend the relevant session.  Volunteers will be at the sessions to gather player details, please check in with them when you arrive.

Equipment required: Boots, shin pads covered by socks, and a ball.

2017 Grading

Girls-only teams

Grading for all age groups from Girls Under 10 to Girls Under 18 will be held :

Dates: Tuesday 21 Feb, Thurday 23 Feb, Tuesday 28 Feb and Thursday 2 Mar

Time: 6pm start – please arrive early to enable player details to be collected.

Venue: Wanniassa 2, Hyland Pl.

Open Under 10, Under 11 and Under 12

Grading for these age groups will be held:

Dates/times:Wednesday 15 Feb (6pm), Saturday 18 Feb (9am), Wednesday 22 Feb (6pm)

Open Under 13 to Open Under 16

Grading for these age groups will be held:

Dates/times: Wednesday 1 Mar (6pm) and Saturday 4 Mar (9am)

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to attend all sessions?

The more session you attend the better the graders can judge the appropriate level for you.  But we realise players often have other commitments.  Players seeking to be graded into Division 1 and 2 teams should try to attend at least two grading sessions.

Do I have to register online before I attend grading?

No you don’t.  The sooner you register at My Football Club the easier it is for our volunteers to finalise the teams, but you can attend grading if you haven’t yet registered.

Is there any extra cost to attend grading?

No.  Your season registration fee covers all the grading process.
