National Premier League – Womens 2019

Is 2019 the year you want to play Senior WPL ?
Then get in touch now

As a club we are all very excited about 2019 and the opportunities ahead. We have invested in and developed a program that is dedicated to player development and the creation of a pathway for all players to play senior football for Tuggeranong United.

In 2019 the program will provide opportunities for
• 30 weeks of training
• 2 team sessions per week
• Mid season player reviews across all teams
• Filming of games to give all players an opportunity to review and assess their own and the team performance.
• A pathway to playing senior WPL

We look forward to welcoming the squads back training on 22 January, with an introduction night planned in February.

Happy New Year

Passing the (presidential) baton. Thanks Jon! Thanks Stan!

At the end of 2018 season presentations, long time president Jon Thiele announced his intention to step down at the start of 2019. That day has arrived.

Thank you Jon for your passionate dedication to TUFC and the Canberra football community for many years! Please see Jon’s final message as our outgoing president.

TUFC Vice President, Stan Mitchell, will be stepping in as president leading up to elections at our 2019 AGM. Thank you Stan!

2018 Adam Fry Memorial Weekend

Adam Fry was a Tuggies State League player who died as a result of an epileptic seizure in 2004.  The Adam Fry Memorial has been run by TUFC for 14 years in memory of Adam.  The event has been run in a variety of different forms, and always raised money for Epilepsy ACT. It’s an ideal opportunity to raise funds for an important and under-funded cause, as well as remember our mate.  Adam’s parents Richard and Rhonda are regular attendees and will be invited again this year.

This year we will be holding the event across a whole weekend on July 21/22, taking in matches in our State League, Masters, Men’s and Women’s National Premier League and a Trivia Night.  All TUFC players are asked to bring a $10 donation to their game that weekend, which will go directly to Epilepsy ACT.  Profits from the canteens and the raffles at the Trivia Night will also go directly to the charity.

Details on the Trivia Night can be found here.
