Summer Sixes

TUFC Summer Sixes Competition overview and fee structure 2019

The TUFC Summer Sixes is a social competition for footballers of all levels, administered by volunteers from Tuggeranong United Football Club.

All participants and team managers are expected to behave in a sportsmanlike manner appropriate to such a competition.  Verbal and physical abuse is not acceptable at any time.

Grading of divisions is minimal and mostly honesty based, although teams will be placed into divisions based on the relative playing experience of the majority of the team members (as noted on the team nomination form).  When significant mismatches of playing levels occur, the Competition Co-ordinators reserve the right to regrade teams to make the competition more fair and enjoyable for all. All teams are requested to apply a good sports approach, and perhaps consider reducing their numbers to 5 if their win is unassailable.  Disputes will be heard, and a common sense approach will be applied to keep the competition ‘social’.  Serious misconduct may be reported to Capital Football, under whose endorsement this competition is run.

Washouts: All washed out matches will be rescheduled as back-to-back catch up games within 2-3 weeks of the washed out date, wherever possible.

Compulsory registration in Play Football & team fee payments

All players are required to register in the TUFC Summer Sixes 2019 packages through Play Football following the instructions on the website. Players must be registered before the first round of the competition, otherwise they will not be covered by insurance in the event of injury or incident. Team managers are responsible for making sure their players are appropriately registered.  All individual payments of fees must be made to the team manager who will organise to pay the team fee in full prior to the first round of the competition.
