(U5 – U9).
Our youngest players start their football careers in the MiniRoo program. Spanning age groups from Under 5 to Under 9, these games are played with modified rules and fields.
The focus is on enjoying the game, in line with the Discovery phase of the FFA National Curriculum. Players learn football by playing football. At TUFC all our MiniRoo teams are open to both girls and boys.
Parents of players in these age groups should register after we announce our registrations are open, after which players will be placed in a team by our volunteers and parents will be contacted by the team manager or coach. Players in the Under 5 age group receive a ‘welcome to football’ pack as part of their registration.
Players need to provide their own football boots (or sneakers).
Players are supplied with a ‘welcome to football’ pack containing a ball, TUFC socks, TUFC shorts, shin pads and a drink bottle which are theirs to keep.
Teams are supplied with a match ball, team shirts and cones. Team equipment must be returned at the end of the season.

TUFC Shop opening times
For those needing equipment as above, the TUFC shop opening hours will be announced closer to the commencement of the season. As a rule the shop will be open on every Saturday of the season and on a number of nights leading into the season.
The full draw will be distributed to coaches and managers when complete.
We will email our 2023 team lists as each age group is finalised. Some minor changes will inevitably occur and there may be errors.
If you think there has been an error (in the wrong age group or can’t find your name) please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org for Miniroos.
Thank you to our volunteer coaches and managers. You will notice teams need both, if you would like to volunteer to coach or manager a team please contact email@example.com
